The Women’s Business Border Center has established at Fort Bliss, Texas (the second largest military installation) since 2007 to meet the needs of the influx of military, spouses, and retiring military who wish to become entrepreneurs.
The representatives of the center are included in the weekly spouse orientation to inform the attendees of the center and the overall U.S. SBA Programs and conduct quarterly small business workshops.

Let’s Start Your Business Workshop
A monthly training held at the Satellite Office on Fort Bliss that targets military, spouses, and retiring military. The training covers the basics on how to start a business.
Boots to Business
Boots to Business (B2B) is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by SBA as part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP). B2B provides participants with an overview of business ownership and is open to transitioning service members (including National Guard and Reserve) and their spouses.
